The ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, Palestine, Sudan, Myanmar, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, territorial disputes, tensions in the South China Sea, among others, continue to fuel global instability. These crises disrupt economies, displace millions, and cause unimaginable human suffering. According to the UN, 82 million people are currently displaced, many because of conflicts likely driven by motives far beyond the official narratives.
At the heart of these wars and horrific acts of violence lies a profound disconnection from our shared humanity—a forgotten sense of fraternity and oneness. The prevailing narratives, often designed to justify conflict and manipulate public opinion, demand critical thinking now more than ever. These narratives obscure the true motives behind wars, leaving the public blind to the reality that many conflicts serve interests tied to greed, control, and power rather than genuine human progress.
The same monopoly-driven, "shark mentality" that glorifies domination and self-interest in economic spheres also shapes the behavior of influential players on the global stage. This mindset perpetuates cycles of hostility, keeping the world on the brink of catastrophic outcomes that threaten the survival of life itself. War has become a lucrative, destructive business—one that thrives on fear and division. Yet, as this manifesto has shown, even a fraction of global military spending could instead transform billions of lives by providing food, healthcare, and education, creating a world built on collaboration and shared well-being.
Let us be clear: this Dolphin Manifesto is not a political tool. It is an existential call to awaken to our true nature, to remember who we are as interconnected souls, and to embrace love, unity, and compassion. War, by its very nature, is antithetical to our highest calling. It is a force of death, hatred, division, polarization, and sorrow. It creates emptiness where love could thrive and destruction where growth and harmony should prevail.
We are not called to hate, manipulate, or destroy one another. We are called to love, to forgive, to serve, and to uplift each other. Let this be our guiding principle: to reject the paradigms that lead to war and embrace the universal truth of love and unity. Through this, we reclaim the happiness and fulfillment that come from living in harmony with our true purpose. And, with our hearts aching, we echo the words of the beloved Mercedes Sosa, the Latin American–Argentinean singer and poet: “I only ask God that war may not be indifferent to us. It’s a great monster, and it crushes hard on the greatest innocence of the people…”
